Natalie Portman And Benjamin Millepied Separate After 11 Years Of Marriage: Report

Black Swan actor Natalie Portman and her husband Benjamin Millepied have parted ways after 11 years of marriage, according to a report by Us Weekly. The estranged couple are parents to a son Aleph (12) and a daughter Amalia (6). On their 11th marriage anniversary (August 4),  Natalie Portman was spotted without her wedding ring during an Angel City FC event in Sydney, Australia and this inicident sparked their separation rumours one more time after June. In June there were rumours that Benjamin Millepied was having an affair with Camille Etienne, a 25-year-old climate activist.

However, a source close to Us Weekly said back then that Natalie Portman wanted to give her marriage a chance despite Benjamin's alleged affair. Now Us Weekly quoted an insider who said, "After news of his affair came out, they've been trying to work on their marriage but are currently on the outs."

Us Weekly quoted a source who claimed, "Natalie believes Benjamin's affair was a brief and stupid liaison that means nothing to him," adding that Natalie was "humiliated" by the rumours. According to the source, Natalie was "willing to see if she's capable of rebuilding her trust" in Benjamin to ensure that their kids don't "grow up in a broken home." Another source added, "Right now, they are talking and working on it together for the sake of their children," and also added that Benjamin "regrets" his actions.

Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied met in 2009 while working on Darren Aronofsky's thriller Black Swan, which hit theaters in 2010. Natalie Portman is known for movies like Where the Heart Is, Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, No Strings Attached, Black Swan, A Tale of Love and Darkness, to name a few. Benjamin Millepied, a professional ballet dancer, worked with his wife on choreography for the film Vox Lux.
